Our staff is trained and skilled, and we strive to provide energetic and fun-loving service to each patient. Each member of our treatment team is an expanded duty dental assistant from LSU and is certified by the American Heart Association in basic life support. Our office staff also has years of experience in treating patients with the highest level of care. We strive to stay abreast of the very latest in technology and advances by regularly attending continuing education courses and seminars.

Angelle Summerlin - Clinical Assistant
Angelle joined Dr. Waguespack's practice in January 2007 with 21 years experience. Angelle attended Dental Assistant School and earned certificates in Expanded Duty Orthodontic Assisting in Louisiana and Georgia. Angelle futhered her education in Functional Orthopedic Appliances, Dale Carnagie, and Floral Design and is also CPR certified through the American Heart Association.
In her spare time, Angelle enjoys gardening, boating and spending time with family and friends.
Heather Labit - Clinical Assistant
Heather originally joined Dr. Waguespack's practice in 2004. Heather has over 12 years of experience in general dentistry, endodontics and orthodontics. Heather completed her radiology certification in 1996 and was Expanded Duty Certified through LSU School of Dentistry in 1998. She is also CPR certified through the American Heart Association and has attended several continuing education seminars to further her career.
Heather is married to Jude Labit and they have three wonderful children, Tyson, Claudia and Chloe. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family, traveling, reading and scrapbooking.
Kim Turnley - Clinical Assistant
Kim joined Dr. Waguespack's practice in 2001 with 9 years experience. Kim earned her certificate in Expanded Duty Dental Assisting from LSU School of Dentistry in New Orleans and is CPR certified through the American Heart Association in Basic Life Support.
Kim is married to Matt Turnley and they have one daughter, Tory. In her spare time she enjoys vacationing, shopping and spending time with her husband and daughter along with family and friends.
Karmen Gil - Clinical Assistant
Karmen joined Dr. Waguespack's practice in January 2010 and has clinical experience since 2009. She attended the Academy of Acadiana where she earned certificates in Dental and Orthodontic assisting. Karmen is also CPR certified through the American Heart Association in Basic Life Support.
Karmen enjoys shopping, traveling, and spending time with family, friends and her puppy Bella.
Krystle Mai - Records/Lab Technician
Krystle joined Dr. Waguespack's practice in April 2007. Krystle attended Acadiana Career College and became certified as a dental assistant. She currently attends the University of Louisiana @ Lafayette as a full time student majoring in Biology.
Krystle enjoys spending time with family and friends, especially while watching a Saints or Cowboys game.
Tonya Leblanc - Financial/Treatment Coordinator
Tonya joined Dr. Waguespack's practice in August 2007. She is CPR certified through the American Heart Association. She is also a graduate of Remington College with an Associate of Science Degree.
Tonya is married to Trenton Leblanc and they have two children, Tyson and Londyn. In her spare time she enjoys being outdoors, cooking, vacationing at the beach and spending time with family and friends.
Nicki Hill - Appointment Coordinator
Nicki joined Dr. Waguespack's practice in 2001 with 7 years experience. She is CPR certified through the American Heart Association.
Nicki was born in Germany and has lived in Lafayette most of her life. She has two wonderful sons, Nicholas and Jonathan. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling and reading.
Brandy Durio - Appointment Coordinator
Brandy joined Dr. Waguespack's practice in November 2006. Brandy is a graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a degree in Business Administration.
Brandy is married to Matt Durio and they have two children, Mary Frances and Henri. In her spare time she enjoys reading and spending time with family and friends.
